The Following a Thoroughbred response to the beat of a 4-1 run, Oneonta pieced together a six point run capped off by three consecutive Polan kills. Set three would not go so well for the Red and White. Oneonta jumped to an early 4-2 lead, until a five-point spurt from Skidmore sparked the Thoroughbreds 25-14 set three win.
Oneonta bounced back in the fourth set. Carpluk got the offense started with a kill from Greco to knot the set at one before moving to the service line and chalking up an ace. Using a six point run highlighted by a pair of kills from both Carpul and
Erika Corbin (Kirkwood/Windsor), the Dragons went on to cruise to a 25-13 set win, taking the match 3-1.
