The SUNY Oneonta wrestling team hosted a quad meet this afternoon with Williams College, Wesleyan University and Ithaca College.  The Red Dragons came away with a 1-2 record, falling to 9-9 on the season with one final dual match next Saturday at RIT.

The highlight of the day for Oneonta was senior Dan Graff (LaGrangeville/Arlington) picking up his 100th collegiate victory to become the 6th wrestler in program history to reach the milestone.  He recorded the win in his opening bout of the day, a 3-1 sudden victory win against Martin Strenk of Williams.  That win sparked a comeback, as the Red Dragons came from behind to defeat the Ephs 21-19.

After Graff's win at 174 lbs., sophomore Anthony Marino (Nesconset/Sachem North) then pinned Chris Chorzepa in 14 seconds to bring Oneonta to within 19-15 with two weights left to wrestle.  Chad Obzud (Cohoes/Lansingburgh) picked up a 5-2 decision at 197 lbs. leaving it up to senior Stephen Provenzano (Islip/Islip) at 285 lbs.  Provenzano came through with a 4-1 decision to give the Red Dragons its only win of the day.

In Oneonta's other two dual matches, they fell to Wesleyan, 20-15, and Ithaca 42-3.  Senior Ben Mikac (Williamsville/Williamsville East), Provenzano and Obzud were the leaders today with a pair of victories each.
