The SUNY Oneonta women's tennis team traveled to the Rochester area this past weekend and came away with a split against Brockport and SUNY Geneseo.  On Friday afternoon, the Red Dragons took care of Brockport, 6-3, before fall to SUNY Geneseo, 9-0.

Against Brockport, Oneonta came through the doubles matches with a 2-1 lead thanks to victories at first and second doubles by the pairings of junior Brynne Sussman and senior Lauren Skolnick (Sayville/Sayville) and seniors Emily Maggiore (Binghamton/Binghamton) and Colette Lankowicz (Sayville/Sayville) respectively.

In singles, Sussman, Maggiore, Skolnick and Lankowicz were all winners at first through fourth singles respectively.  All victories came in straight sets.

Oneonta will be in action tomorrow afternoon at home versus SUNY Cortland beginning at 4pm.
