The Oneonta State wrestling team won 2-of-3 matches today at Wesleyan University to end its dual-meet schedule for the year.  The Red Dragons defeated both Plymouth State and Williams College to finish an even 9-9 overall.  Oneonta will now prepare its lineup for the ECWC tournament at Brockport on Saturday, Fe. 25.  The ECWC tournament is the NCAA Div. III tournament qualifier.

Leading the way for Oneonta on the day were sophomores Jake Smith (St. James/Smithtown), Dan Graff (LaGrangeville/Arlington) and Ben Mikac (Williamsville/Williamsville East).  Both Smith and Graff went a perfect 3-0 while Mikac won a pair of matches.

Smith's first win of the day was a pin against Zac Giovannetti of Plymouth in 2:07.  He then had a forfeit win in the Williams match and xclosed the day with a 5-4 decision versus Luke Erickson of Wesleyan.

Graff had a 6-5 decision win in the Plymouth match followed by a tech fall versus Williams and a major decision in the Wesleyan match.

Both Mikac's wins came by pin including one in the first minute of action versus Alex Cronin of Plymouth.
