The SUNY Oneonta wrestling team participated in the 2nd annual Gulf Coast Duals on Sunday at Riverdale High School in Fort Myers, Fla.  The Red Dragons came away with a 2-2 record on the day, as they are now 4-7 overall in dual matches for the season.

Leading Oneonta with perfect 4-0 records on the day were junior Ben Mikac (Williamsville/Williamsville East) and freshman Shaun Gillen (Bohemia/Connetquot).  Mikac recorded all his wins at 133 lbs. while Gillen won all of his matches at 165 lbs.  Mikac had a pair of decisions, one major decision and one win by pin fall.  Gillen recorded three regular decisions and one major decision.

Junior Dan Graff (LaGrangeville/Arlington) recorded three wins on the day all by regular decision.

Oneonta will now go into the winter break time and will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 12 when they will compete at the Will Abel tournament hosted by Ursinus College.
