Box Score

Senior Suzanne Wright (Hudson/Germantown Central) scored the first three goals for SUNY Oneonta tonight, as the Red Dragons disposed of city rival Hartwick College 4-0 in non-conference action at Hartwick.  The three goals for Wright bring her team leading total to 10 this fall.

Wright scored her first goal in the 26th minute with an assist from classmate Ashley Johnson (Saratoga Springs/Saratoga Springs).  The Red Dragons outshot the Hawks 9-2 in the opening half of play while taking its one-goal advantage into halftime.

Wright completed the natural hat-trick with two straight goals early in the second half.  Both goals were unassisted and came in the 41st and 47th minutes.

Wright assisted on the final goal of the game by sophomore Andrea Day (Greene/Greene) with less than three minutes to go in the game.

The Red Dragons will now prepare for its final SUNYAC contest at home this Friday versus New Paltz with a conference tournament berth on the line.  The winner of Friday's game will be in while the other will have to hope for a couple of teams to lose its final two games to have an outside chance of qualifying for the SUNYAC tournament.
