FREDONIA, N.Y.—The Oneonta State volleyball team competed at the Blue Devil Invitational hosted by Fredonia this weekend and came out with an even split, going 2-2 overall and finishing in fourth place. Junior
Brittany Calvello (Gloversville/Broadalbin-Perth) (Gloversville/Broadalpin-Perth) was recognized for her weekend performance by being named to the All-Tournament Team. Oneonta is now 11-10 overall on the season and will compete next weekend in the Union College Interleague Challenge that begins on Friday.
The Red Dragons didn't expend much energy on day 1 of the invitational, sweeping through Sage College and Pitt-Greenburg.

In its match against Pitt-Greenburg, it was a total team effort as all 16 players saw playing time in the match. Calvello led Oneonta with six kills and 23 assists to go with six total blocks. Sophomore

Yesterday morning in its opening match of the day, the Red Dragons were swept 3-0 by the host Blue Devils. Senior

Stephanie Holt (Delanson/Duanesburg) (Delanson/Duanesburg) had seven kills and two total blocks. Calvello had 23 assists and Zerega added 10 digs.
In the final match of the tournament, Oneonta came back from a two-set deficit to force a fifth set before falling to St. John Fisher, 3-2 (16-25, 20-25, 25-13, 25-19, 12-15). Fabiochi was the leader with 18 kills. Freshman
