     Freshman Kayla Brantmeyer (Center Moriches/Center Moriches) scored 47 seconds in and classmate Jamie Chyat (Staten Island/Staten Island Academy) earned her fifth
shutout this season as Oneonta (8-2-2, 5-1) won a key SUNY Athletic Conference game on the road.  Plattsburgh's defense was slow to react to Brantmeyer, who drew goalie Celia Ricci out of position with a drive down the middle of the field. Brantmeyer then chipped a 25-yarder over Ricci for a 1-0 lead.
    Chayt made one save in a match that mostly featured play between the 18-yard lines. Plattsburgh (7-3-2, 2-2-2) finished with a 7-6 edge in shots. Both teams took three corner kicks.

     Freshman Melinda Sefcik (Poughkeepsie/Arlington) scored her first collegiate goal 8 1/2 min-utes into play and sophomore Dana DeSimone (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa) contributed a second-half goal for visiting Oneonta State, which won in the SUNY Athletic Conference on Saturday.
     Sefcik scored off an assist from senior Melissa VandenBergh (Hopewell Jct/John Jay).  Sophomore Alicia Vollmer (Liverpool/Liverpool) set up DeSimone's goal in the 60th minute.
     O-State (9-2-2) held advantages of 12-4 in shots and 8-0 in corner kicks.
