Bethel continued his dominance this past Saturday by winning the 285 pound title at the RIT Invitational. Bethel is now 19-0 on the season with 12 pins. Along the way, he became the program’s all time winner eclipsing 132 career wins.

In Bethel’s first match of the day, he pinned Thiel’s Tyler Brooks in nine seconds. Bethel then pinned RIT’s Chris St. Denny and Case Western Reserve’s Grant Robinson to advance to the semifinals.

In the semifinals, Bethel would earn a major decision over Scranton’s Keegan Connelly 14-1 before defeating RIT’s Connor Calkins by way of technical fall in the championship bout.
