Deegan was selected as the Most Valuable Player at the Dr. Carol De Costa Tournament this past weekend.  Deegan scored in double figures in both contests, as the Red Dragons defeated both North Carolina Wesleyan and host Medgar Evers.

In a come-from-behind 82-77 win against NC, Deegan posted 13 points and collected six rebounds in 25 minutes.

In the championship game, Deegan nearly recorded a triple-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists.

Deegan is currently second on the team in scoring averaging 14.5 ppg.  He leads the team in assists (38) and is second in rebounds (59).
