McDonald was the first runner to cross the finish line this past Saturday for Oneonta at the NCAA Atlantic Region championships leading the Red Dragons to a fifth place finish as a team.

McDonald finished eighth overall to earn All-Region honors for a second time becoming only the third runner in program history to do so.  His overall finish also bested his program best finish at the regional meet of a year ago when he finished tenth.  McDonald posted a personal best time of 25:29, which is tied for the sixth fastest time in program history.
