SUNY Oneonta Athletics

Ruiz had a tremendous season for Oneonta this spring leading the team in many offensive categories.  For most of the season she was hitting over .500 and, at one point, was hitting .600.

She was selected as an All-Conference player for a second consecutive year moving up to the First Team after being selected to the Second Team a year ago.  As the starting catcher, she led the team with a .403 batting average while also being the leader in hits (48) and was tied for the team lead in doubles (9).  She scored 22 runs, drove in 10 runs and collected 57 total bases.
