Shine led the women’s team to a second place finish this past Saturday at the SUNYAC championships. It was the second straight year that the women had finished second while recording its best team score all-time of 43.

Shine was the third overall finisher in the race. She ran a personal best time of 21:55 for the 6K distance and, her third place finish, tied the best finish all-time at the championships by an Oneonta woman.

Her place-finish also earned her First Team All-Conference honors along with SUNYAC Cross Country Hall of Fame distinction making her the fifth woman in program history to achieve the honor.
