Mackin was the leading scorer this past weekend for Oneonta to help lead the Red Dragons to the Dr. De Costa tournament title at Medgar Evers.
In the opener versus NC Wesleyan, Mackin connected on six, three-pointers enroute to a 23-point effort, as Oneonta came from behind to defeat NC 82-77.
In the championship game, Mackin scored nine points on three, three-pointers. Mackin’s two-day performance earned him a spot on the All-Tournament Team.
Mackin currently leads the Red Dragons in scoring at 15.9 ppg., while connecting on a team-best 33 shots from behind the arc. Mackin recently became the 14th player in program history to eclipse 1,000 career points.
