McElroy helped the men’s basketball team defeat visiting New Paltz, 87-75, last Friday night when he exploded for a season high 32 points.

Mikey had a solid all-around performance adding five rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots and one steal. He hit 10-of-14 from the field including 3-of-5 from behind the arc while making 9-of-11 free throws.

McElroy scored the first 11 points for Oneonta in the game as he gave the Red Dragons the lead for good at 11-8 with his second three-pointer of the evening.
