Tim Reese enters his first season as an Assistant Coach with the Red Dragons. He recently retired after 20 years of service as a Sergeant/Station Commander with the New York State Police in the Oneonta Area. He was a member of the Collision Reconstruction Unit, a Crime Scene Technician, a Radar instructor, and a member of the Underwater Recovery Team.
Tim has over 20 years of experience as a volleyball player on the court. Tim currently is a captain/manager for United Volleyball, a team of Police Officers and Firemen who play competitive indoor volleyball and beach volleyball at the World Police and Fire Games. Tim has competed in the games since 2011 and has won a bronze medal in beach doubles and a bronze medal in indoor volleyball. Tim grew up just west of Oneonta in Endicott, NY; he was a multi-sport athlete competing in cross country, track and field, and travel soccer, and he played collegiate soccer for SUNY Broome Community College.
Tim and his wife, Phoebe, reside with their two daughters, Rachelle and Hanna, in Oneonta.
