Lasky is on the staff in his first year as an assistant after having been a successful singles and doubles player for the Red Dragons from 2014-18. During his career, he collected 50 singles victories mostly playing in the No. 5 and 6 spots in the lineup. He also picked up 29 more wins in doubles over his four seasons.
Lasky also played four years of high school tennis in the top singles position at Colonie High School. Growing up, he would act as a ball boy for his mother’s local tennis group. Slowly, they allowed him to start hitting balls, helping him to discover his love for playing the game. Along with being a player, Lasky coached youth players and worked with non-profit tennis foundations in his free time.
During the summer of 2018, Lasky worked as an intern at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts performing concert production and live sound. He graduated with a degree in music industry and hopes to have a career that combines his passion for music and tennis.
