Gianna Papini joins the tennis staff in 2021-22 after a four-year career as a member of the SUNY Oneonta women’s team. This past May, she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and Communication. Gianna’s responsibilities will include aiding with social media, fundraising, travel, recruiting, and player development.
In addition to being on the tennis team, Gianna served as a Student Athletic Advisory Council Representative, while holding the position as women’s team captain for two years. While working as the assistant, she will be working on her masters in sports management through SUNY Cortland.
Gianna played four years of high school tennis and was part of a team that was undefeated. During the summers, Gianna has dedicated her time to teaching tennis at all levels and ages. Gianna was introduced to tennis at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center at a young age. Since then, she has devoted countless hours to her skills.
