William Zuntag is entering his third season with the SUNY Oneonta men's basketball team, and his second as an assistant coach. He joined the program as a manager in April 2022, following the season. He quickly worked his way to a student assistant coach. Â
As an assistant coach, Zuntag is the team's director of analytics, and assists in recruiting, player development, video analysis and scouting, practice and game preparation, and day-to-day operations. Â "Will was an excellent addition as a student assistant last year, and we are excited to see him take on a more significant role, with an emphasis on analytics." stated head coach, Cameron Conover.Â
Zuntag is a native of Staten Island, NY and is pursuing his master's degree in sport management.
