ONEONTA, N.Y. - The Oneonta cross country teams announced the 2026 schedule this week, with a highlight of hosting the SUNYAC Cross Country Championships. In total, the Red Dragons have seven meets scheduled.
The season begins with the annual Oneonta Airfield Invitational on September 4, held at Fortin Park. The Red Dragons then head to the Hamilton Short Course Invitational on September 12 before traveling to the Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational on September 19.
Oneonta competes at the Fredonia Kara Hall Memorial Invite on October 3, followed by a final tune-up meet at the Geneseo Mike Woods Invitational on October 16.
The Red Dragons host the SUNYAC Championships on October 31 at Fortin Park. Oneonta last hosted the conference championship meet in 2023. Afterward, the teams travel to the NCAA Niagara Regional Championship hosted by Fredonia on November 14.
