ONEONTA, N.Y. - The Oneonta women's swimming & diving team hosted its senior day meet against Cortland on Friday evening in the Chase PE Pool. The Red Dragons fell 139-75, but won four events on the day.

During the meet, Oneonta recognized their graduating class of Alexandria Bard (Duanesburg, NY/Duanesburg), Alaska Lilliock (Malone, NY/Franklin Academy), Macayla Hodkinson (Bethpage, NY/Bethpage), Maddy Boyar (Mahopac, NY/John F. Kennedy Prep), Alyssa Thompson (Montgomery, NY/Valley Central), Alli LaBarbera (Lynbrook, NY/Lynbrook), Ronnie Coe (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta), and Denise Coby.

Oneonta opened with a third-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay with LaBarbera, Lilliock, Bard, and freshman Sydney Richards (Rochester, NY) swimming a 2:03.14.

LaBarbera won the 50-yard freestyle at 26.51, while sophomore Krista Broussard (Chesterfield, VA/Thomas Dale) was fifth at 28.53. In the 200-yard IM, Richards finished third at 2:28.34, and Lilliock placed fourth at 2:42.17.

Bard swam a 1:10.82 in the 100-yard backstroke for fifth overall, and freshman Madeline Cantwell placed sixth at 1:14.83.

Freshman Mary Bush (Binghamton, NY) touched second in the 500-yard freestyle at 6:03.11, while freshman Kaidyn Thompson (Montgomery, NY/Valley Central) placed third at 6:17.70.

Oneonta swept the 100-yard breaststroke, with Richards taking first at 1:17.02. Junior Raina Willie (Stony Brook, NY/Ward Melville Senior) earned second at 1:24.66, and senior Ronnie Coe (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) grabbed third at 1:31.83.

Oneonta wrapped up the swim events by winning the 200-yard freestyle relay. Bard, Bush, Lilliock, and LaBarbera won by nearly 30 seconds at 1:48.69.

Hodkinson won the one-meter (five dives) with 165.50 points. She then placed fourth in the six dives with 194.85 points.

Oneonta concludes the regular season at New Paltz on Saturday, January 31, at 1 p.m.
