ONEONTA, N.Y. - Both the Oneonta men's and women's swimming & diving teams earned the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Spring Scholar All-America distinction, announced by the association office this week.
Teams must have a combined GPA of 3.00 or higher to earn CSCAA Scholar All-America status. The women's team posted a team GPA of 3.47, while the men's squad recorded a 3.11. This marks the 13th time the women have received the award and the sixth time the men have been honored.
Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, praised the honorees, "These teams exemplify what it means to be true student-athletes. Their dedication to academic excellence, alongside their athletic commitments, is both impressive and inspiring. The CSCAA is proud to recognize and celebrate their hard work and achievement."
