ONEONTA, N.Y. - After earning All-SUNYAC recognition, Oneonta baseball senior Kyle Roper (Tappan, NY/Tappan Zee) earned D3baseball.com All-Region 3 Second Team for the 2025 season.

The 2025 season marks the 13th season that D3baseball.com has named All-Region teams, with more than 1,000 players nominated. The ballot was then made available to D3baseball.com staff and contributors, from which three teams in each region were determined.

Roper appeared in 11 games while starting nine and went 5-1 on the season with one complete game. Roper pitched 53.1 innings with the SUNYAC's second lowers ERA at 2.36. He finished with a 1.03 WHIP and struck out 42 batters. Roper held opposing batters to a .223 batting average and threw a complete game shutout in the win over Plattsburgh on Mar. 21.

Oneonta finished the year at 25-17-1 and 9-9 in the SUNYAC. The Red Dragons reached the SUNYAC Tournament Championship round for the first time since 2007.
