ONEONTA, N.Y. -  The Oneonta baseball team had six players earn All-SUNYAC honors on Wednesday morning. Seniors Anthony Foglia (Somers, NY/North Salem), Joey Dwyer (Shoreham, NY/Shoreham Wading River), Logan Hutter (Smithtown, NY/Smithtown West/Smithtown), Kyle Roper (Tappan, NY/Tappan Zee), and juniors Nick Jacoby (Yorktown Heights, NY/Yorktown) and Brendan Duffy (Southold, NY/Southold Jr./Sr.) earned second-team recognition.
Foglia picked up his first career all-conference selection and was the Red Dragons starting first baseman. He led the team and was seventh in the SUNYAC with a .368 batting average. Foglia ranked fourth for Oneonta with 46 hits and was third with 12 doubles. He also added two home runs. Foglia finished with 37 RBI and 31 runs. Defensively, Foglia recorded a .993 fielding percentage with 271 putouts and was a part of 17 double plays. Foglia was a SUNYAC All-Tournament selection as well.
Dwyer secured an all-conference selection for the second year in a row. He tallied 43 hits, 38 runs, and 21 RBI. Dwyer added two home runs, three triples, and eight doubles. He also led the nation in stolen bases with a program record of 48. In the outfield, he recorded a .990 fielding percentage.
Hutter makes the second team for the second season in a row. Hutter batted .300 with 42 hits, 30 runs, three home runs, three triples, and six doubles. As the Red Dragons' starting catcher, Hutter tallied a .969 fielding percentage with 213 putouts.
Roper earns his first all-conference selection in 2025 as one of Oneonta's starting pitchers. He appeared in 11 games, while starting nine, and went 5-1 on the season with one complete game. Roper pitched 53.1 innings with a 2.36 ERA and a 1.03 WHIP, striking out 42 batters. He held opposing batters to a .223 batting average and threw a complete game shutout in the win over Plattsburgh on Mar. 21.
Jacoby garners his first-career All-SUNYAC selection as the Red Dragons' third baseman. Jacoby tied for first on the team and fifth in the SUNYAC with 55 hits. He led the team and was third in the conference with 48 runs. Jacoby added 30 RBI with three home runs, four triples, and nine doubles. He also stole 13 bases.
Duffy is also a first-time all-conference honoree. He was named to the SUNYAC All-Tournament team and led the team, and was second in the SUNYAC with seven home runs. Duffy added 37 hits, 23 runs, 26 RBI, and 11 doubles.
Oneonta finished the year at 25-17-1 and 9-9 in the SUNYAC. The Red Dragons reached the SUNYAC Tournament Championship round for the first time since 2007.
