ONEONTA, N.Y. - Four Oneonta women's basketball team members earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Honors. The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and classroom.
Seniors Amanda Zuntag (Staten Island, NY/Notre Dame Academy), Molly Coyne (Syracuse, NY/West Genesee), Nadia Brown (Troy, NY/Troy), and junior Emma Schwarzbeck (Wallkill, NY/Wallkill Senior High School) were the Oneonta recipients for 2024-25. To be nominated, a student-athlete must play regularly for the team and carry at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale). Nominated athletes must have participated in at least 90 percent of the team's games or started at least two-thirds of the team's contests.
Oneonta finished the season at 11-15 and 8-10 in the SUNYAC. The Red Dragons reached the first round of the SUNYAC Tournament.
