NEW PALTZ, N.Y. - Senior Kaiden Ring (East Greenbush, NY/Columbia) netted the opening goal in the 20th minute, but a second-half New Paltz score led to a 1-1 tie on Wednesday afternoon. Oneonta moves to 3-7-4 and 1-3-3 in the SUNYAC, while New Paltz goes to 6-3-6 and 2-1-5 in the conference.

After senior Karsyn Kondracki (Smithtown, NY/Smithtown West) fired on goal at 47:57, New Paltz countered and scored in the 50th minute from Kelleher to tie 1-1. Afterward, neither side had a shot on goal for the remainder of the game as the draw stood. Â
Meehan finished with five saves, while New Paltz's Jess Centeri had two.
The Hawks outshot the Red Dragons 15-6 and held a slight 4-3 corner kick advantage.
