Olivia Dobrovosky (Skaneateles/Skaneateles) finished with a 16-point, 14-rebound double-double, and senior
Meg Nardelli (Wappingers Falls/Roy C. Ketcham) ended with 14 points. The Red Dragons improved to 17-7 on the season and 12-5 in the SUNYAC, while the Bears are now 10-12 overall and 8-9 in conference play.
Potsdam jumped out to a 6-0 start before Dobrovosky knocked down a pair at the line at 7:48. Junior
Molly Stephens (LaGrange/Arlington) and sophomore
Amanda Zuntag (Staten Island/Notre Dame Academy) each made a couple shots, including a triple from Stephens, to pull Oneonta within two at 5:10. The Bears scored the next five points then freshman
Lidia Boucher (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem Central High School) hit a jumper to cut the Red Dragons deficit, 13-18, heading into the second. Â

Jenna Harclerode (Sayville/Sayville) kicked it to sophomore
Nadia Brown (Troy/Troy) in the corner for a three-pointer to start the second period. After a tough layup, Nardelli knocked down a three of her own to give Oneonta their first lead of the game, 21-20 at 7:31. The game remained one possession for the remainder of the half. Zuntag scored six of Oneonta's last seven points in the quarter as the Red Dragons went into halftime with a 34-31 lead. Â
Oneonta spread the ball out to begin the third, having five different players score the first five field goals. At 2:47, Dobrovosky hit a pair at the line to put the Red Dragons up 47-41, but Bella Barner knocked down a three to cut the lead in half. Clara Culeton (Oswego/Oswego) drove in for a pair of layups to put the Red Dragons ahead, 54-44, at the end of the third. Â
Oneonta maintained a double-digit advantage throughout the fourth quarter. Dobrovosky posted seven points in the quarter and Stephens capped the scoring off with a triple. Â
Stephens and Zuntag each finished with 10 points. Zuntag and Culeton both had four blocks, while Culeton recorded eight points and seven rebounds. Brown led the team with six assists. Â
Jakia Howard had 17 points and seven rebounds for Potsdam while Barnell finished with 15 points and 6 rebounds.
The Red Dragons wrap up the regular season tomorrow at Plattsburgh at 2 pm.Â
