Olivia Dobrovosky (Skaneateles/Skaneateles) had the game-high of 19 points and was one of three Red Dragons to score in double figures as the team improved to 16-6 overall and 11-4 in the SUNYAC as the Golden Eagles dropped to 10-12 on the season and 7-8 in the conference. Â

Amanda Zuntag (Staten Island/Notre Dame Academy) hit a couple jumpers to maintain the six-point lead with three minutes left in the first, however Brockport tied it at 12 before the end of the period.
Zairea Hannah gave the Golden Eagles the early advantage in the second with a layup, but the Red Dragons got it back with a Culeton free throw and Dobrovosky layup with 7:13 to play in the half. Neither team could gain the upper hand and the lead continued to alternate between both squads for the remainder of the half. The Red Dragons relied on scoring from Zuntag, Dobrovosky, Culeton and freshman
Emma Schwarzbeck (Wallkill, NY/Wallkill Senior High School) in the final moments of the half as the game went into the third knotted at 22. Â
Culeton and Dobrovosky each hit a couple jump shots to put Oneonta out in front 30-25, though Brockport answered with an 8-0 run to take a two-point lead at 4:18. Junior
Molly Stephens (LaGrange/Arlington) put the Red Dragons back in control for a moment with a triple, but multiple trips to the line got Brockport ahead 38-35 with 1:45 left in the period. Oneonta closed out the third with four points from Culeton and a layup from Zuntag, however a last-second three-pointer from Mackenzie Higby put the Golden Eagles ahead 43-41.
Dobrovosky started the fourth converting two and-ones to put Oneonta up 47-43. Stephanie Jean-Baptiste knocked down a three-pointer to bring it back to a one-point game. After Zuntag and Harlcerode traded baskets with Zoe Zutes, and made it 51-50 with 4:57 left, the Red Dragons closed out the game on a 10-2 run. Culeton ended with 15 points and eight rebounds, and Zuntag finished with 11 points and five rebounds. Harclerode led the team with 13 rebounds. Â
Jean-Baptiste led the Golden Eagles with 12 points and five rebounds, while Hannah finished with seven points and 14 boards. Â
Oneonta shot 36.8 percent from the floor and brought in 46 rebounds. Brockport shot 28.4 percent from the floor and recorded 36 rebounds. Â
The Red Dragons Senior Day and final regular season home game is Saturday against Geneseo at 2 pm.Â
