A Quick Look
The SUNY Oneonta baseball team made up a conference game against Brockport at the Onondaga Baseball Complex, Tuesday evening. The Golden Eagles won 1-0 and improved to 17-2 overall, 6-0 in the SUNYAC, while the Red Dragons fell to 6-16 overall and 0-6 in SUNYAC. Â

Brockport scored the lone run in the second inning off a passed ball, with one out and the bases loaded.
In the top of the seventh, junior
Liam Kaseta (Somers/Somers) reached first on a single and stole second to get into scoring position. Senior
Michael Sabatine (Fairport/Fairport) was up next and hit a single to center, however Kaseta was thrown out at home.
Just the Stats
Kaseta and Sabatine both went 2-for-3 in the game. Sophomore
Michael Sadowski (Queens/Queens Metropolitan) received the loss after pitching 7.0 innings, allowing five hits, one run, and striking out five. Sophomore
Matthew Russo (Poughquag/Arlington) pitched an inning and struck out two. Â
Matt McGowan pitched a complete game for the Golden Eagles and struck out 10.
What's Next
The Red Dragons are back in action this weekend as they travel for a three-game series against Fredonia. Game one will be played on Friday at 3 pm, and a doubleheader on Saturday starting at noon.Â
