Men's lacrosse defeated by rival Cortland

A Quick Look
The SUNY Oneonta men's lacrosse team was defeated tonight by its rival Red Dragons from SUNY Cortland 22-5. The loss for Oneonta drops them to 2-9 overall and 1-3 in the SUNYAC while Cortland moves to 7-6 overall and 4-0 in the conference.

The Inside Story
The host Red Dragons grabbed a 4-1 lead after the first quarter and never looked back. Cortland led 9-3 at halftime and entered the final quarter with a 14-4 lead.

Senior Dean Cannon (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa) led Oneonta with ?? goals while and junior Kieran Rowley (Long Beach/Long Beach) added ?? goals. Rowley also added an assist as did juniors Connor Gallagher (Montrose/Hendrick Hudson) and Jack Dinnegan (Blauvelt/Tappan Zee).

Next up for Oneonta is a date with Oswego next Saturday afternoon beginning at 3pm.
