Graduate Student
Tyler Brazinski (Johnson City/Johnson City) captured the individual title at 165 pounds to help lead the SUNY Oneonta wrestling team to a fourth-place finish at the ECWC Championships today hosted by Ithaca College. In all, the Red Dragons had nine wrestlers earn All-Conference honors, as the squad accumulated 77.5 points. Host Ithaca won the overall team title.

The Inside Story
Brazinski ripped his way through his weight class enroute to the title. Brazinski was 4-0 on the day including three wins via pinfall.

Brazinski's three pins came in his first three matches and were against Tyler Speraw of Penn State Behrend (2:37), Adrian Rosario-Beato of Ithaca (4:30) and Isaac Matthews of Oswego (6:47). His final win of the day was a 4-1 decision against Matthew Kline of Brockport in the championship match.
