The SUNY Oneonta women's soccer team fell to Red Dragon rival SUNY Cortland, 5-0. The loss for Oneonta dropped them to 1-11-1 overall and 1-6-1 in SUNYAC, as Cortland moves to 8-4-2 and 6-1-1 in conference.

Cortland capitalized early on Oneonta's pressure. In the fifth minute sophomore forward
Abbey Wood (Dover Plains/Dover Plains) (Dover Plains/Dover Plains) got a shot on net, but Lexi Ramonetti saved and redirected the ball to Alannah O'Shea who passed down the field to Jaden Galluzzo for a breakaway goal. Â
Cortland kept control of the rest of the game, scoring an additional three goals in the first half. Simone Neivel and Lizzy Sabatelle each had a goal assisted by Katie Cosenza, while Galluzzo scored her second goal of the game for a 4-0 halftime lead. Â
Madison Tortora scored the last goal in the 51st minute.Â
