Lucas Fecci (Somers/Somers) netted a pair of goals today to lead the SUNY Oneonta men's soccer team to a 3-0 victory on the road at Fredonia. The win for the Red Dragons raises its overall record to 9-2-2 and 5-1-1 in the SUNYAC while the Blue Devils fell to 6-9-0 overall and 1-6-0 in the conference.

"We move the ball well and we can be good to watch," said Head Coach
Iain Byrne. "Outside of Lucas, we are just lacking a little more quality in the attacking third."

Fecci's two goals came in the latter half of the opening 45 minutes. His first came in the 33
rd minute off an assist from classmate
Ethan Brunell (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa). His second goal came in the 41
st minute off an assist from classmate
Ian Zingaro (Liverpool/Liverpool). For Fecci, his two tallies give him 11 on the season including five game-winners.

The Red Dragons added its final tally in the 89
th minute when sophomore
Robert Bruschini (Wilton/South Glens Falls) set up Jake Westadt for his first goal of the season.

Oneonta outshot Fredonia 17-5 including 9-1 in the first half. Winning keeper
Nate Hanna (Baldwinsville/C.W. Baker) only had to make one save today in picking up his second shutout of the season.

What's Next
The battle of the Red Dragons awaits Oneonta this coming Friday afternoon when they face its rival from Cortland. The match is scheduled for 3pm and could determine a top seed for the SUNYAC playoffs.
