The No. 2 ranked SUNY Oneonta men's soccer team battled through windy conditions today to outlast the host Sage College Gators 1-0. The victory for the Red Dragons pushed its season record to 5-0.

The two squads went into halftime deadlocked at 0-0. Oneonta outshot the Gators 8-3 overall in the opening 45 minutes.

Roberto Ventura (Brentwood/Brentwood) slotted a pass through the Gator defense before depositing a shot into the back of the goal.

The Red Dragons finished the match with a 16-5 shot advantage while earning seven corner kicks. Freshman keeper
Nate Hanna (Baldwinsville/C.W. Baker) pushed aside two of the five shots he faced to record his third straight shutout in as many starts.
