Denis Fleming (Pearl River/Pearl River) and senior
Witman Hernandez (Huntington/Walt Whitman) each added a goal each in the 4-0 shutout over the Rams.

"We can take a lot of positives from today's game," said Head Coach
Iain Byrne. "It's been pleasing to see some of the freshmen making their mark so early in the season and Witman is looking like a real force up front."

The Inside Story
As was the case in its opener yesterday, the Red Dragons started quickly controlling play from the opening whistle. Oneonta registered seven shots while earning a pair of corner kicks in the first 15 minutes of the match.
Â
The Red Dragons continued its offensive pressure before it finally produced a score in the 39
th minute. Fleming entered the game five minutes earlier and picked up where he left off yesterday notching his third goal of the season off an assist from senior
Nick Dillmann (Fishkill/John Jay), who entered the match at the same time.
Â
Three minutes later, Hernandez gave Oneonta a 2-0 lead when he was able to control a loose ball inside the box before freeing his left foot to roll a shot past the Rams keeper into the lower right corner of the goal.
Â
Despite their continued dominance, Oneonta didn't pull away from the Rams until the final 15 minutes scoring its final two goals of the contest.
Â
Fecci notched both goals for the Red Dragons, which were his first goals of his collegiate career. The first goal was unassisted while the second came off a lead pass in close by Hernandez. The pair of goals came in the final five minutes of the match.
Â
