The SUNY Oneonta women's soccer team fell to sixth ranked Misericordia University 3-0 Friday evening at All College Field.
The Inside Story
Misericordia got on the board in the 26
th minute when sophomore Kendall Pearage ripped a shot into the top of the net on a pass from Michaela Fasolino. Â Pearage struck again in the 43
rd minute on a nice feed from Kaylee Sturans to give the Cougars a 2-0 advantage at the half.
Pearage would tally her fifth point of the game when she setup Zoee Farr to make the score 3-0.
Just the Stats
Misericordia outshot Oneonta 16-9 in the game, with both goalkeepers making four saves for their respective teams. The Red Dragons held a slim 2-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Christina Kornfeld (Mount Sinai/Miller Place) led Oneonta with two shots on net.

Oneonta will return to action on Saturday, September 7
th when they host Clarkson in the Annual Mayor's Cup at 12:30pm.
