The SUNY Oneonta baseball dropped their SUNYAC series opener against Cortland 11-1 on Thursday afternoon at Wallace Field.
The Inside Story
After three scoreless innings to start the game, Cortland (12-8-1, 4-0 SUNYAC) exploded for 11 runs on eight hits in the bottom of the fourth. Oneonta (9-10, 2-5 SUNYAC) scored their lone run in the top of the fifth.
Sean McGlynn (New Hartford/New Hartford) got the inning started with a double to left center before
Mike Graves (Bethlehem/Bethlehem Central) drove him home with an RBI single to right center.
Oneonta could only muster five hits in the game.Â
