Back-to-back goals by senior Megan Tingley lifted the visiting Plymouth State Panthers to an 11-10 victory today against SUNY Oneonta in non-conference women's lacrosse action. Tingley's game-winner came in the 28
th minute to break the 10-10 tie. Tingley also caused a turnover in the final 30 seconds to ice the game for the Panthers.

Oneonta (3-3-1) fell behind early 3-0 before finally getting on the scoreboard in the fifth minute of the game. Junior
Lauren Bascelli (Williston Park/Herricks) converted the first of Oneonta's five free position goals in the game.

Tingley, who finished the game with six goals to lead Plymouth, notched consecutive goals to stretch Plymouth's (3-2) lead to 5-1.

The Red Dragons found themselves down 6-2 after another goal by Tingley in the 12
th minute before putting together a comeback heading towards halftime.

Junior
Kelsey Cohen (Baldwin/Baldwin) put a free position shot by the Plymouth goalie in the 14
th minute to cut the deficit in half at 6-3.

After a goal by Sam Sullivan gave the Panthers a 7-3 lead, Oneonta scored three unanswered goals to end the half trailing by one goal at 7-6. Sophomore

Deirdre Buckley (Merrick/Kellenberg Memorial) each tallied for the Red Dragons.

Oneonta's momentum carried into the beginning part of the second half, as they scored the first two goals to grab its first lead of the game. Freshman
Sophia Calabrese (Bethlehem/Bethlehem Central) scored her 11
th of the season followed by Casey's 23
rd of the season.

The two teams then exchanged goals over the next 10 minutes of play capped by
Kelly Clarke (East Meadow/East Meadow)'s first goal of the season to give Oneonta the 10-9 lead with just over 10 minutes remaining.

Tingley's game-tying goal came just 14 seconds after Clarke's when she won the draw and went right to goal beating Oneonta goalie
Lexi Keen (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa).

The overall statistics were just a close as the final score. Oneonta held a slim 36-33 shot advantage while the Panthers won 13 draws to Oneonta's 10.

Keen finished the game with 16 saves while her counterpart, Clarissa Foote, made 15 stops.

Oneonta will open the SUNYAC portion of its schedule next Saturday, Mar. 31 at SUNY Geneseo beginning the 1pm.
