The SUNY Oneonta women's lacrosse team didn't show any wear at all today ending its week of contests with a 20-9 victory at Farmingdale. The Red Dragons flew back to New York yesterday after its trip to Florida where they picked up a pair of wins. Today's win keeps the Red Dragons unbeaten on the season at 3-0-1.

Taylor Casey (Garden City South/Kellenberg Memorial) continued her torrid scoring pace with four more goals today to lead the attack. Five other players scored multiple goals including senior
Jaime Morris (West Nyack/Clarkstown South) and sophomore
Shannon Giddens (Franklin Square/H Frank Carey) with three goals each and sophomore
Victoria Varone (Commack/Commack) and freshmen
Abbi Zalucky (Averill Park/Averill Central) and
Sophia Calabrese (Bethlehem/Bethlehem Central) each adding two goals.

Jaclyn Marry (Long Beach/Long Beach) made nine saves between the pipes to record her second win of the season.

The Red Dragons left no doubt about today's game jumping out to a 6-0 lead in the opening 8:14. Casey scored a pair to pace Oneonta while Giddens, Varone, Morris and
Kelsey Cohen (Baldwin/Baldwin) all added one goal each.

The Red Dragons continued to add to its lead building it to 12-3 at halftime. Farmingdale (0-2) scored the opening two goals of the second half before Oneonta shut the door with four unanswered to push its lead to 16-5.

Oneonta will face city-rival Hartwick College this Tuesday beginning at 4pm on Hartwick's turf.
