The SUNY Oneonta men's soccer team pressured late but couldn't come up with the equalizer falling to New Paltz 2-1 on the road in the regular season finale. The loss for Oneonta dropped them to 9-4-4 overall and 5-2-2 in the SUNYAC. Iain Byrne. "For all our play, we need more goals as we get ready for playoffs."

The Hawks held onto its slim one-goal lead heading into halftime despite being outshot 4-1 in the opening 45 minutes.
New Paltz added to its lead in the 56
th minute on a goal by leading scorer Kevin Doorley who headed in a crossing pass from Ryan Martinez. For Doorley, it was his SUNYAC leading 13
th goal of the season.
