The SUNY Oneonta men's soccer team played 110 minutes of soccer today at Plattsburgh and managed a 1-1 draw with the Cardinals. The tie was the second straight for Oneonta, as they are now 7-3-4 overall and 4-1-2 in conference play.

Both goals in today's match were recorded in the second half after the two squads went scoreless in the opening 45 minutes.

Plattsburgh (5-5-3, 3-2-1 SUNYAC) struck first in the 69
th minute of the match. Michael Grald tallied his first goal of the season with an assist from Taka Fukushima.

Oneonta held a decided advantage on the attack during the game and continued to pressure the Cardinals' third of the field. The Red Dragons outshot Plattsburgh 25-13 in the match.

The Red Dragons finally broke through in the 75
th minute on a goal by sophomore
Roberto Ventura (Brentwood/Brentwood). It was Ventura's fourth goal of the season and was assisted by freshman
Jeremy Pantoni (Goshen/Goshen).

Nicholas Giordano (East Northport/Commack) recorded three saves today in goal for the Red Dragons. Giordano is now 4-2-4 on the season.
