Cambridge, MA. The SUNY Oneonta volleyball team dropped a weekend match against MIT on the road, 3-0. The Red Dragons fell to 9-15, and the Engineers improved 21-1 on the year. In the match,
Meghan Keyes (Burnt Hills/Burnt Hills) had a team high seven kills for the Red Dragons.
For the Red Dragons senior
Sara Feldman (Smithtown/Smithtown East) had six kills, and classmate
Melissa Voyer (Baldwinsville/C.W. Baker) had a team high three blocks. Freshman
Jessica Fowler (Burnt Hills/Burnt Hills) had a match high 19 assists.
For the Engineers Abby Bertics had a match high 18 kills, and also had two blocks. Andie Maloney had 18 assists and Carly Silvernale had 10 digs.
The Red Dragons are back in action at home in the final SUNYAC Pool Play, in the Dewar Arena. The first match starts 5:00pm, when they take on SUNY New Paltz.
