The SUNY Oneonta women's soccer team defeated Oswego 2-0 yesterday to earn a split of weekend SUNYAC matches. Oneonta is now 3-3-3 overall and 1-1 in conference play. On Friday, Oneonta fell 2-0 at rival SUNY Cortland.

Kayla Belush (Earlville/Sherburne-Earlville) scored her fourth goal of the season unassisted in the 16
th minute while classmate
Emily Opalinski (East Amherst /Williamsville East ) added an unassisted insurance goal in the 89
th minute. The goal was Opalinski's first of the season.

Oneonta outshot the Lakers 15-5 with seven of the shots being on frame. The Red Dragons also had six corner kicks to two for Oswego (4-2/1-1 SUNYAC).

Emilie Mull (Marcy/Whitesboro) only had to make one save in the match.
