The SUNY Oneonta baseball team dropped the series finale to Cortland yesterday at Damaschke Field, 11-2. Oneonta had a hard time finding the strike zone, as they walked 11 batters as a team. Cortland used Damaschke's large dimensions to hit three triples. Cortland's Tanner Whiteman went 7 innings, allowing four hits while striking out seven enroute to his 6
th victory of the year.
Sophomore
Sam Beaulac (Wynantskill/Averill Park ) went 2-4 with a double, stolen base and a run scored for Oneonta.
Oneonta is back in action tomorrow against the Utica Pioneers at 4pm at Damaschke Field.
