Box Score The SUNY Oneonta baseball team banged out a season high 16 hits today , but fell short in 10 innings to Fredonia, 7-6. The Blue Devils would win in walk off fashion when Liam Kelly singled to center field to score Joshua Crocett from third base.
Oneonta's offense came from the heart of the lineup (4-5-6) led by senior
Dylan Stamile (Long Beach, NY/Bowie (Austin, TX)). Stamile went 4-5 with two doubles and three runs scored. Behind him, sophomore
Brandon Torres (Highland Mills/Monroe-Woodbury) went 3-5 with two doubles and two runs batted in. Junior
Sean Mullins (Vestal/Vestal) went 3-5 with three runs batted in, including the game tying RBI in the 9
th inning to send the game into extra innings.
The Red Dragons are next in action on Saturday as they begin its weekend series versus New Paltz. Saturday's doubleheader begins at noon at Damaschke Field.
