Ryan Adler (Smithtown/Smithtown West), the SUNY Oneonta men's lacrosse team dropped a SUNYAC game to Brockport, 8-5, yesterday afternoon on the road. The loss for the Red Dragons dropped them to 4-5 overall and 1-1 in the conference while Brockport moves to 6-5 overall and 1-1 in the SUNYAC.

Coyle notched his first two goals of the contest in the first half, as Oneonta held a 2-1 lead at the break. Both goals came unassisted.

The third quarter belong to the hosts, as they outscored Oneonta 4-1 to grab a 5-3 advantage entering the fourth quarter. The Red Dragons' lone score in the quarter came from junior
Mike Metzger (Colonie/Colonie) off an assist from sophomore
Robert Neubert (Lake Ronkonkoma/Sachem East). The goal gave Oneonta a 3-2 lead after the Golden Eagles had tied the game early in the quarter.

Oneonta couldn't get any closer than two goals in the fourth quarter, as the teams alternated goals, the last coming on an open net for Brockport, as the Red Dragons were pressuring to try and force a turnover.
