SUNY Oneonta junior Grace Schilling (Northport/Northport) scored a game high 13 points to go with five rebounds, two assists and two steals in helping to lead the women's basketball team to a 57-39 road win tonight at SUNY Potsdam.  The win for the Red Dragons snapped a seven-game losing skid while picking up its initial win of 2013.

Junior Kristin Pappalardo (Mahopac/Lakeland) contributed 12 points, four assists and three steals for Oneonta (5-9/2-5 SUNYAC), as they raised its road record to 4-3 overall.

Tonight's game was over early, as Oneonta raced out to an 11-0 lead in the first four minutes of the contest.  The Red Dragons held a 29-13 lead at halftime aided by five three-point baskets in nine attempts.

In the second half, Oneonta shot 57 percent from the floor, as they built its lead to as many as 23 points with eight minutes to go in the game.

Oneonta will continue its road trip tomorrow with a tough test at Plattsburgh, who is currently in third place in the SUNYAC.  Tip-off is scheduled for 2pm.
