The Oneonta State women's basketball team jumped out to a quick 7-0 lead and never looked back en route to a lopsided 82-46 victory at Brockport tonight.  The Red Dragons had four players reach double figures including season best games for junior Kate Wilverding (Manalapan, NJ/St. John Vianney) and freshman Sarah Longto (Kingston/Kingston).  Oneonta is now 13-6 overall and 11-2 in the SUNYAC while the Golden Eagles fall to 3-16 overall and 0-12 in the conference.

Oneonta dominated in all aspects of tonight's contest as they prepare for a tough road contest at Geneseo tomorrow afternoon beginning at 2pm.  The Red Dragons held a decided advantage in bench scoring thanks to Wilverding's 16 points off the bench.  Wilverding hit 5-of-6 shots including 4-of-5 from long range in 19 minutes of action.

Longto, who scored 14 points on a perfect 7-of-7 shooting, helped Oneonta to a 24-18 advantage in the paint.  The Red Dragons also scored 19 points off 16 Brockport turnovers while committing a season low seven turnovers.

Senior Samantha Szkotak (New York Mills/New York Mills) led all scorers in the game with 18 points.  Classmate Madison Slagle (Rome/Rome Catholic) added 10 points for Oneonta.

Brockport had three players in double figures led by Cecilia Sigrist, who had 12 points to go with 12 rebounds.
