The SUNY Oneonta men's basketball team had three players reach double figures led by sophomore Dan Lee (Ballston Lake/Shenendehowa), but the Red Dragons fell at home to Plattsburgh 70-61.  Lee scored 18 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the floor that included 3-of-4 from long range, but Oneonta (1-11/0-5) was out rebounded 39-16 in the contest.

The visiting Cardinals had 17 offensive rebounds and had three players in double figures tonight in picking up its third SUNYAC win of the season.  Plattsburgh (5-7/3-3) was led by senior Junghoon Roh, who scored a game high 19 points.  Roh hit five of Plattsburgh's nine three-pointers in the game.

Oneonta battled back from a 56-48 deficit with just over nine minutes to go in the contest to tie the score at 56 apiece with exactly four minutes left.  Plattsburgh scored 11 unanswered points over the next three minutes to put the game out of reach.

Joining Lee in double figures tonight for Oneonta was classmate Kevin Donahue (South Glens Falls/South High) and junior Nick Sarchioto (Duanesburg/Bishop Gibbons), who scored 11 points and 12 points respectively.

Sophomore Shavar Fields scored 15 points and freshman Shamoy McIntosh added 13 points for Plattsburgh.

Oneonta will be on the road for back-to-back road contests this weekend versus the top two teams in the SUNYAC.  Friday night Oneonta will battle rival Cortland and on Saturday Oneonta will be at Oswego.
