A first half goal by senior
Dana DeSimone (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa) (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa) was all the Oneonta State women needed today in picking up a 1-0 shutout win versus visiting Buffalo State this afternoon in SUNYAC women's soccer action. The win for the Red Dragons kept them alive for a run at the #2 seed and a first round by for the conference tournament. A win tomorrow for Oneonta (7-6-1/5-2-1 SUNYAC) and a loss by New Paltz will give the Red Dragons just that.

Karly passed the ball into the 12 before Dana sent a shot along the ground that found its way to the back of the goal. It was Dana's fifth goal of the season while the assist for Karly was her first point of the 2011 season.
